Refugee is a romantic drama film directed by J.P. Dutta. This film marked the debut of Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor. It also starred Jackie Shroff and Anupam Kher. The film was released in the year 2000 and turned out to be the sixth highest-grossing film of that year.
The throwback video features the grand premiere of the film attended by who’s who of the tinsel town. Amitabh Bachchan, Kajol and Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan with his then-wife Amrita Singh were amongst many to attend the event.
