Urmila Matondkar is currently is news for her debate with controversial actor Kangana Ranaut. The veteran actor turned politician stood in support of Bollywood and condemned Kangana for comparing Mumbai with Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
Urmila Matondkar’s Controversy With Kangana Ranaut:
Matondkar said, “The entire country is facing the menace of drugs. Does Kangana know Himachal is the origin of drugs? She should start from her own state.”
She further said, “I will never tolerate any defamatory remark against Mumbai. When you make such comments you are not only insulting the city, but people of the state at large. If one person shouts all the time, doesn’t mean the person is speaking the truth. Some people want to crib all the time and play the victim card and if all that fails, they play the woman card.”
Replying to Urmila’s comments, Kangana made derogatory remarks on her and called her ‘a soft porn star.’ While talking to a leading news channel, Kangana said, “Even Urmila, she is a soft porn star. I know it’s very blatant. But she isn’t known for her acting for sure. What is she known for? For doing soft porn right? If she can get a ticket, why won’t I get a ticket?”
Kangana’s statement hasn’t gone well with people who are reminding her of Urmila’s beauty, elegance and powerful performances in numerous films. A user wrote on Twitter, “Urmila’s performance in Rangeela is better than Kangana’s entire Bollywood career.”
