Have you watched the 2008 Hindi film ‘Halla Bol?’ It touched upon the Jessica Lall murder case, Aamir Khan’s involvement with the Narmada Bachao Andolan, the Right To Information Act, and public participation in fighting corruption.
The film was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and stars Ajay Devgn and Vidya Balan in lead roles. Several celebrities of the Bollywood industry made an appearance in the film as themselves.
Priyanka Chopra was the initial choice for the film. But she rejected it due to another project.
