Zakir Khan’s Show Apka Apna Zakir Goes OFF-AIR! Know All About It

After creating a great hype for the stand-up comedian’s show named ‘Aapka Apna Zakir’, the latest show by Zakir Khan comedian, has run out unsuccessful on the screens. The TV show that came out to be surpassing the TRPs of The Kapil Sharma Show in its first week has been receiving a detereioating response so far. Because the show has not recieved even a survival-level TRP in the weeks after its release, makers have now planned to let show go off-air.

Sony TV To Discontinue The Zakir Khan Show

Reportedly, from Times Now, it was revealed that the public has rejected the show and has chosen to get it discontinued by the makers. The show had no creative aspects. Calling only big celebrities at the show with usual discussions, and no entertainment has led the show to audience’s disliking it. A total of six episodes have already been shot with multiple celebs for #AAZ. Out of which a few episodes that went on-air witnessed extremely low rating on TRP.

It is still being discussed if the balance episodes would be featured on the television or the show is going to roll-off with immediate action. As per the sources, the decision of discontinuing the Zakir Khan show is final and there is no going back to this. Sony TV is confirm on their decision even though the production house is still thinking to rectify it. As the source states, “The script was so bad at every stage that the presence of prominent stars such as Karan Johar, Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, John Abraham, Sharvari and others, also didn’t help the show.”

Aapka Apna Zakir was comedian’s first ever TV show. He is often seen doing amazing stand-up comedies, and has also done a few OTT series. In his intial interviews, he mentioned about his excitement of coming up with this new project. Zakir talked about his parents being happy that their son is going to have a show named on him. But, now that the show is going off air, Zakir Khan’s reaction on the same is yet to come out.
