Vikrant Massey Confirms ‘NO RETIREMENT’, Claims The Public “MISREAD” His Post

After getting huge reactions from the public upon his recent social media post, Vikrant Massey has clarified the doubts that he is not retiring permanently but is just going off on a break.

December 2, Monday turned out to be a heavy day for Vikrant Massey fans. The 12th Fail star left the audience in a state of shock after he announced his retirement from acting at the age of 37. While his social media post gathered immense attention with questions and doubts at the most, Vikrant has now made it clear that he is not retiring from acting. The actor claimed that the public misunderstood his post as a “retirement-from-bollywood”, while he just meant to say that he needed a long break.

Vikrant Massey spoke to News18 Showsha, where he made clarifications regarding his latest post to clear the confusion. The actor said, “I’m not retiring… Just burned out. Need a long break. Miss home and health are also acting up…” Adding more to his new statements, Vikrant also said that the people misread” his instagram post, and assumed the announcement as a “permanent retirement” from acting. Henceforth, it comes out as a matter of sigh for all the Vikrant Massey fans as it’s only a long-break that they will see, with two of his movies already in the pipeline for the next year.

Vikrant Massey Pens A Long Note On Retirement

In case you don’t know, Vikrant Massey on Monday shared a social media post, where he penned a long-note about bidding a goodbye-to his acting career. Massey wrote, “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor. So, coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted,” Reactions from the public started popping up in the comment section right after the post went out. His co-star Raashii Khanna was also taken aback, as she commented, “What?…No!”
