Venom The Last Dance Box Office: Tom Hardy Starrer Becomes Best Opener Of The Franchise In India

With positive reviews for both the film and Tom Hardy's performance, this third installment has become the biggest opener in the "Venom" series, surpassing the first two movies, "Venom" (2018) and "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" (2021).

The new Hollywood feature starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock hit Indian theaters a day earlier than in North America. This action-comedy, based on a comic book, is off to a strong start in India, especially considering that some recent Western releases, like “Joker: Folie à Deux,” have underperformed, with that film being a significant disappointment compared to its predecessor. Early box office trends for “Venom 3” suggest it is faring well.

With positive reviews for both the film and Tom Hardy’s performance, this third installment has become the biggest opener in the “Venom” series, surpassing the first two movies, “Venom” (2018) and “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” (2021). According to Sacnilk, “Venom: The Last Dance” earned ₹5.60 crore in India on its opening day, with screenings starting after noon. For comparison, “Venom” collected ₹5.25 crore, while “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” made ₹3.60 crore on their respective opening days.

Most of the film’s earnings have come from Hindi and English versions. On the second day, the film’s business grew, with the English version seeing a more than 40 percent increase while the Hindi version experienced a 20 percent growth.

Regarding reviews, “Venom: The Last Dance” has received mixed feedback. Some viewers praised Tom Hardy’s performance and his chemistry with the symbiote Venom, while others described the film as average, calling it a “sober” farewell for the character. Social media, particularly X, is filled with reviews from moviegoers. One user referred to the movie as “funny” and “emotional.” Another stated, “#VenomTheLastDance isn’t just fun; IT’S THE BEST VENOM MOVIE BY FAR! It’s the funniest, most emotional, and has the best story, embracing the silliness we love in full force.”

The total collection for the film in India stands at ₹12.1 crore nett across all languages after two days, and it is expected to break records in the coming days.
