Veer Pahariya Denies Involvement In Comedian Pranit More’s Assault, Offers Personal Support

Veer Pahariya apologised for Pranit More being attacked after his show, because of cracking up jokes on Veer's debut performance in Sky Force.

As a part of a horrifying incident, Maharashtrian comic artist Pranit More was allegedly attacked by some estranged men and was threatened at the middle of a road, after he cracked some jokes on Sky Force debutant Veer Pahariya. The artist, cracked up on Veer Pahariya’s performance in the recent movie ‘Sky Force’, however it was reported that after comedian Pranit was done with his set, a bunch of men came forward to punch him on the face as a punishment of his jokes.

Comedian Pranit More Attacked By Multiple Men For Making Jokes

In a social media post, the comedian shared the tragic incident. On behalf of the team, the message read, “We want to shed light on a horrifying incident that took place recently. On February 2, 2025, at 5:45pm, after Pranit’s stand-up show in Solapur at 24k, 10-11 men disguised as fans, approached Pranit. They brutally attacked him-punching and kicking him repeatedly, leaving him injured”. The statement identified Tanveer Shaikh as the leader of the group who threatened saying, “Agli baar Veer Pahariya Baba pe Joke maarke dikha”. While this stance by the attackers clearly indicated that they came to respond on Pranit’s joke on Veer, the actor on the other hand has strongly condemned the move.

Veer Pahariya Apologises To Pranit More

Veer in his defence, passed a statement that read, “Shocked and deeply saddened by what happened, Pranit. I want to make it absolutely clear that I had no involvement in this and strongly condemn any form of violence. I’ve always taken trolling in stride and would never encourage harm toward anyone, especially a fellow artist. I’m truly sorry this happened to you, and I will do whatever I can to ensure those responsible are held accountable. Sending you strength.”

Netizens REACT To The Situation

Netizens meanwhile have reacted to this by calling it a very cheap move on Veer Pahariya’s fans. Already the actor received much negative publicity, in the name of his viral dance moves. Pranit More, also wrote, that “if If a comedian can be physically assaulted for making a joke, what does that say about our basic rights and safety? As Maharashtrian artists, we never imagined that in his own state, he would face such violence just for doing his job,” Munawar too, talked about the same

So far, there has been no details if the arrest has been done or not, as the CCTV footages were denied at the time of scrutiny. Not even the police was sent on time, as the victim’s team reported. However, there is still no clarity if the attackers really belonged to Veer Pahariya’s associated team or were legitimate fans of the actor.
