TVF Actor Abhilash Thapliyal REACTS on UPSC Aspirants Death Case In Delhi

About the recent UPSC aspirants death, Abhilash who essayed the role of SK sir, expressed his grief on how the enitre matter is being politicized. He says the politics has stooped down very low.

Actor Abhilash Thapliyal, who gained recognition from the TVF series, Aspirants has come out to speak on the sad demise of the three UPSC aspirants in Delhi’s Old Rajinder Nagar. The actor in a recent interview with midday.com spoke about the brewing matter and recalled his days when he was shooting at Old Rajinder Nagar. Abhilash says that while he was present there for the shoot, he felt the place being a densely populated area.

Recently, a tragic incident ocurred in Delhi’s Old Rajinder Nagar, a place known to be the hub of IAS or UPSC aspirants. Considering the sensitivity of this issue, the TVF actor said that it is very disappointing for him to see how the matter of UPSC aspirants death is being politized. He believes politics has just stooped down to another level.

“While filming in Old Rajinder Nagar, I realised that there is a high population density cramped in very small places. I am not sure how many of these places have all the required licenses and NOCs”, the actor added further.

Abhilash Thapliyal also recalled the recent Mumbai incident, where a huge hoarding crash in Ghatkopar area led to losing of so many innocent lives. He says, the UPSC aspirants death could hopefully, prove to be a wake-up call for the authorities and the operators of such coaching centres and institutes to ensure safety measurements everywhere.

What Happened? UPSC Aspirants Death

In a shocking accident caused at Delhi, three UPSC Aspirants from different corners of the country were found dead due to drowning in a coaching’s flooded basement library. Rau’s IAS Study Circle, known to be giving classes to multiple IAS aspirants had its library built in the underground basement. Three aspirants, namely, Tanya Soni(25), Shreya Yadav,(25) and Navin Delvin(28), were trapped down in the library as heavy rainfall led to huge waterlogging. While othet students managed to make their way out, three of them were caged in as the water level rose higher.

TVF SERIES ASPIRANTS

Set in Delhi’s Old Rajendra Nagar, aka ‘Mecca of UPSC’, the TVF launched a series on the UPSC students, “ASPIRANTS”, who aim towards clearing the exam, every year. The series featured Abhilash Thapliyal, Naveen Kasturia and Sunny Hinduja, three aspirants who arrive to the place with full dedication of clearing the exam. The series garnered much love and attention of the fans and recenlty launched its second season.

On hearing the tragic incident, Abhilash who essayed the role of SK sir, a failed IAS Aspirant but a highly-motivating mentor expressed his grief on the matter.
