TV Industry Mourns The Death Of Legendary Actor Rishi Kapoor

Bollywood along with the TV industry is devastated by the sudden demise of the actor, many actors shared their heartfelt condolences.

Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, the Indian film industry lost 2 gems in 2 days. Just yesterday Irrfan Khan passed away due to colon infection, and this morning everyone woke up to the sad demise of veteran star Rishi Kapoor. The 67-year-old star was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital last night where he took his last breath.

Last night Randhir Kapoor released an official statement, he stated, “It’s true that he has been admitted to the hospital. He is in Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital. He was not keeping well and had some problem, so we admitted him early this morning,”

Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer back in 2018, for which he spent 11 months in New York, and in September 2019 he returned to India. Even after he returned he often visited the hospital for a regular check-up. A few months ago post his return from New York, Rishi gave an update on his health, he said, “I feel very fresh and geared up to do any kind of work. My batteries are all charged and I’m looking forward to facing the camera. I just hope I haven’t forgotten acting. Right now, I don’t know if my work will be welcomed or if people are going to trash me. When I was going through treatment, I had a few blood transfusions. And I told Neetu that I hope with the new blood, I haven’t forgotten acting.”
