Famous actor Vikas Sethi, who played an evidently essential role in the popular TV serial ‘Kyuki Saas bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ passed away today. Reportedly, the actor was said to be dead in his sleep last night in Nashik. The reason behind the death is announced as cardiac arrest. However post his demise, Vikas’s body was immediately brought to Mumbai and sent for post-mortem to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital.

Vikas’s friend Kabir Sadanand who was also his co-actor in film Deewanapan, interacted with the media to talk about the demise. As per Kabir, the actor had gone to Nashik to meet one of his relatives when he passed away in his sleep. When his brother Ricky observed that he is not responding and hadn’t woken up since long, he checked and found him dead. Vikas Sethi was just 48 and this death has shaken the industry deeply. Though, there are no legitimate announcements from the family members, but a source close to the team revealed that Vikas Sethi was going through depression and was a bit too stressed since a long time. He was going through a lot of financial problems and failed to meet his own needs.

Vikas Sethi, was also seen playing the role of Robbie in Karan Johar’s film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Apart from this, he had been a part of numerous serials and movies in the past. Friend Kabir also expressed his agony on being lesser in touch with him. He said, “This demise has been a wake-up call that we should make efforts to stay in touch”.
The 48 year old actor left the world too soon. Fans raise questions on the numerous deaths occuring these days due to cardiac arrest and have expressed their grief to the late actor’s death. Vikas Sethi used to live with his wife Jhanvi and twin sons.
