Veteran actor Tiku Talsania known for his epic comic timing and memorable performances in films and television had recently left fans worried after his sudden hospitalized on Friday after suffering a brain stroke. Earlier reports suggested he had a heart attack but his wife Deepti Talsania immediately clarified the situation. Speaking to NDTV, she said, “He suffered a brain stroke, not a heart attack. He had gone to attend a film screening and started feeling unwell around 8 pm. He was immediately admitted to the hospital.”
The 70-year-old actor is currently undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. While the news caused concern among his fans, Tiku Talsania’s daughter Shikha Talsania has provided a positive update.
Taking to her Instagram story she wrote, “Thank you for all your prayers and concern. It’s been an emotional time for all of us, but we are happy to share that Dad is doing much better now and is recuperating well. We are grateful to the doctors and staff at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital for everything they have done and to his fans for all the love that came our way in abundance.”

The incident occurred when Tiku Talsania was attending the screening of Rashami Desai’s upcoming Gujarati film Mon Tane Naa Samjhaye. Actress Rashami recalled and shared a sign of relief, saying, “He was having a conversation with my uncle but after a few minutes, he started feeling restless. He was quickly rushed to the hospital. I’m relieved to hear he is doing better now.”
Tiku Talsania’s career spans over four decades, with over 190 films and numerous television shows to his credit. Some of his iconic works include Andaz Apna Apna, Coolie No. 1, Raja Hindustani and Hungama. Meanwhile, Tiku Talsania’s daughter Shikha Talsania, has made a name for herself with popular performances in Veere Di Wedding, Scoop and Satyaprem Ki Katha.
