Television star Vaishali Thakkar recently committed suicide by hanging herself. Thakkar was 30 and living in Indore for a year. The actress was found dead on Sunday, October 16, morning at her Indore residence. Vaishali is best known for her role in the Star Plus daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Soon after the suicide news, the police reached the spot and recovered the body. Police recovered a suicide note from the spot, according to various reports. Currently, as per the evidence collected from the spot, the reason for Vaishali’s suicide has been cited is a turbulent romantic affair. The matter is under investigation and is registered at the Tejaji Nagar police station. The actress was engaged to a Kenya-based surgeon Abhinandan Singh.
Vaishali’s her fans and co-stars started pouring condolences on social media soon after the news of her death. Takkar’s debut television series was Star Plus’s longest-running serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in which she played Sanjana from 2015 to 2016. She is best known for her portrayal of Anjali Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka, Shivani Sharma in Super Sisters, Netra Singh Rathore in Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara and Ananya Mishra in Manmohini 2.
