The ace TV producer Yash Patnaik has given tinsel town hit shows like Rang Badalti Odhani, Ishq Mein Marjawan, Ishq Mein Marjawan 2, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Sadda Haq and so on and in his recent interview, Yash Patnaik says its not easy for all writers to write IMMJ 2.
Mamta and Yash Patnaik’s hit show Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 has been a big success and it went digital on 15th March 2021 and now currently is streaming on Voot Select. Opening up on same, Yash Patnaik says its not easy for all writers to write IMMJ 2.
The show produced under their banner Beyond Dreams Entertainment became a trendsetter in very less time and the connect between IMMJ 2 and its audience is very organic. Speaking up on story telling, Yash Patnaik says its not easy for all writers to write IMMJ 2.

We all know how the dynamic producer duo Yash and Patnaik’s hit serial went digitalised from 15th March 2021 on Voot Select and its title is Ishq Mein Marjawan 2: Naya Safar. Though the show always had a good digital presence, the change in the platform allowed the makers could explore more as far as the storytelling is concerned as TV had certain restrictions and spilling more details on same point, Yash Patnaik says, “Since March the series has become a Voot Select Exclusive which allowed us to be more experimental with the storytelling. It’s great to see the positive reaction of the digital audience to IMM2”.
Further, Yash adding about how the show is really quirky and unique from others in thriller genre which is not easy to make since it follows an unconventional style, said, “IMM2 has a different kind of grammar. It’s like ‘Catch Me If You Can’ in a loop. It’s not easy for all writers to write the show”.
The serial that went on air in last year after the unlock phase in our country in month of July 2020 on Colors TV became a huge success in a short span of time where it even successfully created its own different fanbase on social media and is ruling on fans and audiences hearts as well. It still manages to keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The producer rightly says very rarely a thriller sustains for this long and credits his wife Mamta for this and spilling more beans on this part, Yash says, “I will give the complete credit to Mamta and her team to keep coming up with the twists and turns. Though sometimes I do give them some characters and plots, it’s they who do the hard work”.
