Raj Kundra’s arrest for his alleged involvement in the adult film racket shook the entertainment industry. Sharing his opinion on the case, actor Vivaan Arora, who has been a part of TV show like Aahat, SuperCops vs Supervillains, and Khushiyon Kii Gullak Aashi, to name a few, said that if the adult film was shot against someone’s consent then they should be charged for it.

He said, “Everyone has watched porn at some point in their life, and some continue to watch it all their life. It just depends on the person. But as far as Raj Kundra’s case is concerned, honestly, I don’t know the whole story, but if a girl has done it on her own will, I don’t think anyone should have a problem with it”.

He also reveals, “But, if it was shot against her will and consent in the name of contract or blackmailed on the basis of releasing their photographs, then that’s wrong. They should be charged for it, and strict action must be taken against them”.

Though watching pornographic content in private is not banned in India, publishing or transmitting it in electronic form is illegal. Talking about it, the actor said, “There are websites where you can watch porn. If it’s illegal, or if it is banned, then it should have been imposed properly, like Dubai”.

He shares, “Also, I feel, if you have banned something, people see an opportunity in it. They feel they can do something different in it. So they should make stricter laws for it because we don’t have a strong internet power”.

Vivaan also expressed his views on the bold content on the web these days, he feels that such scenes are used when people don’t have a good content with them andon same he added, “Bold scenes on the web are common without any reason. It’s like you sell sex only if you don’t have content. They get a beautiful girl on-board, they pay her well and use her for creating such content. There are so many OTT platforms where they put such scenes even if it is not required. They should take inspiration from series like Special Ops, The Family Man, etc., and see that even without such bold content they can make a good show. But sex is easy money, and people here don’t like to do hard work”.
