After TV czarina Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 4 : Bhaagya Ka Zehreela Khel (Colors TV, 2020) got pulled down and off air in last year thanks to the COVID 19 pandemic, in his latest chat interview, dapper and suave TV star Vijayendra on shootings halted, says worst thing that happened.
Sharing more details on his concerns for shootings getting halkted in Maharashtra, more so because his new show that got launched in this year itself and is also airing on Star Plus which has been produced by ace producer duo Amir and Sonali Jaffar under their banner Full House Media Pvt Ltd, Vijayendra on shootings halted, says worst thing that happened.

The entertainment industry hit a pause button last year in March 2020 after the government announced a nationwide lockdown to control the spread of Coronavirus. And looking at the rising number of cases now the Maharashtra government imposed a 15-day lockdown in the state from 15th April, and has put a hold on the shootings of films, TV shows and advertisements.
It was only in last year that Vijayendra Kumeria was shooting for the supernatural thriller show Naagin 4: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel which got pulled down and went off air from Colors TV by the makers as soon as the lockdown restrictions got lifted and now his new show which is rocking the TRP charts and is also a hit serial, Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha also went on air in March 2021 this year itself and now with shootings being stalled in Mumbai, he said, “I don’t know what’s in store for us”.
He furthermore also went on to add, “Our show went on-air very recently, and this is the time when you make a connection with the audience. The first few months are very crucial, and hearing the government make the announcement was quite disheartening. The lockdown is the worst that could have happened. But we all saw it coming, we all took it very lightly and the rising number of cases is a proof of that”.
Earlier whilst the government had done a weekend curfew and also a night curfew, the debonair TV star best known for his role of Suraj in Udaan said, “It’s difficult. We had done a double shift so that we would have some bank of content to keep entertaining the people. Let’s see how things pan out now”.
Currently the entire team of his show Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha wherein he is winning hearts of his fans and audiences as Darsh Rawal, a blind photographer, is in Goa for shooting the on screen destination wedding sequence and the show has been produced by Amir and Sonali Jaffar. On this Vijayendra says, “The producer duo is good and have ensured that the shoot goes on smoothly in Goa”.
