Sony Entertainment Television’s mythological show Vighnaharta Ganesh that has garnered immense love and respect from its viewers is all set to narrate fascinating tales about the famous Jagannath Puri Temple. In the show, the audience has already been apprised about how the Jagannath Puri Temple came about. In the coming weeks, the show will further highlight interesting and unique facets about the temple. One such interesting tale being that of Bedi walle Hanuman. How did the mighty Lord Hanuman get tied down at Jagannath Puri Temple?

Apart from the lead actors Ganesha aka Advaiti Kulkarni, Malkhan Singh aka Lord Shiva and Madirakshi Mundle aka Parvati the track will see actor Hitanshu Jinsi who portrays the role of Lord Vishnu also essay the role of the deity’s avatar Lord Jagannath and Nirbhay Wadhwa as Lord Hanuman.

The narrative will take the viewers through Lord Ganesh reciting the story of Bedi walle Hanuman. How Lord Hanuman saved the temple of Jagannath Puri from an adverse storm and ended up being chained there. While we all know about the revered temple of Jagannath Puri, this interesting fact will enlighten people on why the Lord Hanuman’s statue is at the entrance of the temple.

Talking about the ongoing track, Advait Kulkarni who plays Lord Ganesh says, “I had only heard about the Jagannath Puri temple. But through the ongoing sequence, I am learning a lot more and enjoying the process. I am a devotee of Lord Hanuman and learning about my favorite God and how he came to be known as Bedi Walle Hanuman was very interesting. I am glad to be a part of Vighnaharta Ganesh were I am able to grasp a lot of knowledge and exposed to such interesting information. I wish to visit the Jagannath Puri temple one day and seek blessings.”

Adding further, Hitanshu Jinsi who plays Lord Vishnu as well as Lord Jagannath says, “I play Lord Vishnu and receiving a chance to play Lord Jagannath is bliss. I know how the Jagannath Puri temple came into existence but, in order to play the part right, I ensured I read up all the information available on its existence and channelized it while portraying the same in front of the camera. I hope the viewers resonate with the episodes. I will undoubtedly visit the temple once everything gets normalized. Playing a mythological role is awaking spirituality inside me”.

Sharing his experience on playing Lord Hanuman, Nirbhay Wadhwa says, “I feel fortunate to have received the opportunity to play Lord Hanuman time and again. Vighnaharta Ganesh has featured various stories which are wonderfully depicted, and this was one of the reasons I immediately agreed to play my part. My role is challenging, and viewers will see me doing something new on-screen for this sequence. I hope my fans and well-wishers love and support me like always.”
