The Indian entertainment industry lost two gems just one day apart. On April 29, 2020, versatile actor Irrfan Khan succumbed to death after his long hard battle with the neuroendocrine tumor for almost two years. While the film and television industry was mourning on the sudden demise of Irrfan Khan that on the morning of April 30, 2020, news broke of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passing away. The 67-year old late actor was suffering from leukemia and eventually surrendered. The entertainment industry has been doomed at the loss of such legendary stars and is sending condolences to their family.
The artists of television and film fraternity is paying tribute to the late actors who have behind a forever legacy for the budding actors. Meanwhile, there is good news for their fans, as in the memory of the two stars, Colors TV will be paying tribute to them with an event called Dard-e-Dil: A Tribute to the Legends.
The virtual event will witness the artists from films and TV industry who will celebrate the actors’ accomplishments and send in their pre-recorded videos. Some musical events will follow on from this as well. The line-up includes the host of the event, Maniesh Paul, comedian Bharti Singh, singers Sukhwinder Singh, Aditya Narayan, Abu Malik, television stars, and former Bigg Boss contestants Hina Khan and Devoleena Bhattacharjee.
Arjun Bijlani will sing ‘Om Shanti Om‘ from Karz while ‘Suit Suit Karda‘ from Hindi Medium will be performed by Aditya Narayan. Hina Khan already recorded the song ‘Teri Umeed Tera Intezaar’ from Deewana.
The event will be aired on television this weekend.
