TMKOC: Jennifer Mistry Quits Show, Accuses Makers Of Sexual Harassment

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Jennifer Mistry aka Mrs. Roshan Sodhi has quit the show. Actress accused the makers of sexual harassment.

After working for the show for almost 15years, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Jennifer Mistry who is popularly known for playing the role of Mrs. Roshan Sodhi has quit the show. However, the reason behind her exit from the show is rather shocking. Reportedly Jennifer Mistry has accused the makers of “sexual harassment”.

Jennifer Mistry Quits “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”

As per a TOI report, Jennifer Mistry has decided to quit famous television sit-com, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However, after leaving the show, the actress filed a complaint against producer Asit Modi, and case against Project Head Sohail Ramani, and executive producer Jatin Bajaj of “sexual harassment”.

Jennifer confirmed the news to the portal and stated that she shot her last episode on March 6 this year. She revealed that she had to leave the sets since she was subjected to humiliation and insult at the hands of Sohail Ramani and Jatin Bajaj.

Revealing the incident, she said that it was Holi and also her marriage anniversary when the incident happened. She wanted to leave after working for half a day but was stopped by Sohail Ramani. She stated that while adjustments were made for other male actors, but even after making requests she wasn’t granted the leave.

Elaborating the incident, she stated that her car was stopped by Sohail Ramani and Jatin Bajaj. And when she retaliated Sohail Ramani rudely asked her to get out, four times. While the whole incident is also recorded on the CCTV cameras. Following the incident, she decided to file case against the makers and demand a public apology.

Before Jennifer, many actors including Shailesh Lodha, Disha Vakani and and Gurucharan Singh have also left the show for different reasons.
