TMKOC Actor Mandar Chandwadkar Graces Mission Annapurna Programme Of Being Sevak

Under Mission Annapurna programme by Being Sevak, food kits, blankets and hygiene kits were distributed to needy people.

Actor Mandar Chandwadkar recently graced the Mission Annapurna program held on 9th Jan 2022 as a Guest of honour to distribute monthly food kits, blankets and hygiene kits to visually impaired members. Mandar is best known for playing the role of Atmaram Tukaram Bhide in the popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

The event was organised by Being Sevak Charitable Trust that continues to provide selfless support to the under-privileged and blind people. As the number of Covid cases is on a rise, Priyanka Shah and his team of young volunteers as part of the Mission Annapurna programme in Mumbai distributed food kits.

Priyank Shah and Mandar Chandwadkar took the stage to spread awareness about COVID safety measures. For the unaware, Mandar had also contracted Covid-19 in March 2021.

Being Sevak Charitable Trust constantly supports and make efforts to uplift hundreds of visually impaired members and their families in the states of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Gujarat. Their aim is to provide healthy meals to blind people and bring a positive change in the lives of the underprivileged and visually impaired people.

Following his mother’s footsteps, Mr. Priyank Shah, founder of Being Sevak Charitable Trust has not only supported hundreds of helpless, poor and needy people but established a nationwide movement of donation campaigns for the cause. Mr Shah’s generous act of kindness has inspired numerous youth and well-known personalities to contribute towards the upliftment of visually impaired members, the latest addition being TMKOC actor Madar Chandwadkar.
