Surbhi went on to mention that as an actor she loves to experiment and play different roles. She feels that it is a challenge when it comes to portraying a particular character on camera. She considers herself to be fortunate to get such an opportunity to play this role. She takes inspiration from Priyanka Chopra right from her dressing style to acting skills.
In one of her exclusive interview, Surbhi mentioned that “Ishqbaaz was my first lead actress outing on television. It is difficult to receive the kind of popularity that Anika and the whole show enjoyed over the years. And it is important to note that in addition to Anika, I played numerous characters on the show. The character had many shades and it was interesting that regardless of the ratings or viewership, everyone knows what Ishqbaaz is all about. People know the characters, sets, clothes and the story of the show.”
