On Monday, the Broadcast Audience Research Council(BARC) published few viewership statistics of the show’s first four episodes which will certainly leave you amazed.

According to BARC, the first four episodes of Ramayan crossed a total of 93.3 million viewers and received a total of 6.9 billion viewing minutes.

BARC tweet reads “The show garnered an average of 28.7 million impressions in the first in the first four episodes”.

Earlier, Arun Govil, who plays Lord Ram, thought the “Ramayan” re-telecast was a perfect way to teach the younger generation about Ramayan’s “morals, teachings, and principles.”

“The new generation will get a chance to watch it. They will get to understand the morals, teachings, and values of Ramayan. If they will watch it with the family, they can interact also. If they have queries then their family members of the older generation can explain things. It is a family show. How relationships should be…has been shown in the show. Positivity is there. Right now there is a lockdown, you can’t go anywhere. So watching it will be a good way to use the time,” Arun told IANS.
