Supriya Pathak In A Never Seen Before Avatar In ALTBalaji – Action Drama Cartel!

Veteran actress Supriya Pathak, best known for her work in Delhi-6, Toofan, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, and many more films, is going to be seen in a never seen before avatar. For ALTBalaji – MX Player’s upcoming action-drama Cartel, Supriya Pathak is all set to play a gang leader. The show which tells the story of 5 crime-lords based in different areas of Mumbai will witness Pathak as one of the gang leaders, Rani Maai. The makers dropped the latest promo and poster featuring Rani Maai; a fearless leader and a matriarch who is the rock of her family at all times.

ALTBalaji took to its social media to share a new promo. The promo gives us a glimpse of Supriya Pathak as dressed in a Maharashtrian style Nauvari saree with a bun. In the short 23 seconds video, we see the sass of Rani Maai and also how fierce she can be in this otherwise male-led world of Cartel. She says, ‘Tereko meri family ke baare mein, sab kuch pata hai. Par tujhe mere baare mein sab kuch nahi pata hai.’ And that’s it! You don’t need much to prove how empowering her character is going to be.

While sharing the latest promo, the makers wrote, ‘Rani Mai, the mother who built the empire on power and fear.
