Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring Pavitra Rishta 2 for the audience. Pavitra Rishta was a popular show that aired for five years. It boosted the career of its lead characters Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande who were previously unknown to the masses. Manav and Archana’s jodi is appreciated even after a decade. After Sushant’s mysterious death last year, Ekta Kapoor announced the second season of the show. While Ankita was the obvious choice for season 2, finding a new Manav was quite a challenge, keeping in mind the emotions of lakhs of people. And finally, the Mahabharata actor Shaheer Sheikh was signed for the show.
While some are excited about the new beginnings, many people are upset and furious with the decision of bringing the second season. People are not ready to see someone else filling Sushant Singh Rajput’s shoes. And now, his US-based sister Shweta Singh Kirti has expressed her opinion. She posted Ankita’s picture from the sets of Pavitra Rishta 2 and wrote, “Prayers for the success of Pavitra Rishta’.
In another Insta story, she shared Shaheer and Ankita’s photo who were dressed up as Manav and Archana. Shweta wrote, “I am happy about this. Wishing luck to Pavitra Rishta team.”

Talking about Pavitra Rishta 2, the show will exclusively premiere on Zee5 and after 55 days, it will start streaming on Alt Balaji as well.
