Not only does she speak about being a victim whilst suffering domestic violence but also has clearly spoken out loud to her daughter, soon to be a debutant Bollywood actress Palak Tiwari, to stand firm for what is right and morally correct.

Last seen in the hit serial Mere Dad Ki Dulhan (Sony TV), actress Shweta Tiwari’s personal life always gets her in the headlines as even in the past she had openly accused her husband for domestic violence and since then this has been a battleground for her and was earlier married to ex Raja Chaudhary with whom she separated after nine long years and then also got married to now ex-husband Abhinav Kohli and then also got divorced from him and yesterday on international women’s day 2021, Shweta Tiwari posts video about having suffered domestic violence.

In the video also speaking about domestic violence and mentioning that her experiences would serve as a guiding light for daughter Palak she clearly made it clear for Palak to always be loud and bold against wrong and never stay silent on it and explaining this important piece, she said, “I have been through a lot in life, and at every step when I felt vulnerable, I pulled myself together to gather the courage and stand up for what is right, for the sake of my daughter. She has seen me through the thick and thin of my journey, has only grown up to be stronger today”.

Furthermore, also saying to Palak about learning to fight her own battles, Shweta says, “They still criticise me for taking a step against domestic violence. But whatever I did, made my daughter intelligent and strong. I just want to tell my daughter, I am always with you, but you need to fight your own battles”.

She ended this video by saying, “I may not always be around to be your shield, but I hope my experiences and right actions become a guiding light in your life, where you find the strength and integrity to face any situation. Unless you fight for yourself, people will not believe you”.
