This weekend, Senior playback singer Kumar Sanu will grace the show of Super Dancer – Chapter 4 with his presence. As the contestants perform on some of his famous tracks, the singer thoroughly enjoyed watching all the acts by the supremely talented contestants. However, there was one performance that touched his heart and left him overwhelmed.
Pruthviraj and his guru Subhranil Paul, who have been outdoing themselves week on week, danced to Kumar Sanu’s memorable song ‘Aankh Hai Bhari Bhari’, which made everyone emotional. Incidentally, it’s also celebration of Father’s Day this weekend. So, the unique choreography was not just infused with the lyrical dance form, but also full of sentiments that portrayed the sacrifices that Pruthviraj’s father did for him, to fulfill his dreams. After seeing their performance, the judges got together to give the duo a standing ovation.
Kumar Sanu was left overwhelmed, and said, “Hats Off! I couldn’t imagine this level of act on this song.”
Judge Shilpa Shetty Kundra could not hold back her tears as she missed her father. She was left pleasantly surprised by the act and appreciated Subhranil’s choreography and lauded the talented duo with ‘Seedhi Ovation’.
Saying a few words of wisdom to Pruthviraj, Shilpa said, “Strength and growth come only through continuous efforts and struggle.”
Judge Geeta Kapur applauded both for their sincere efforts, whereas Anurag Basu added, “I don’t have to say anything, the whole act is justified by everyone’s reaction.”
Even host Paritosh Tripathi could not hold himself back and burst into tears after seeing their performance. He also shared a special anecdote about his father who always motivated him to give his best and shared how he was always there for him. He recited a shayari dedicating to all the father’s out there on the special occasion of Father’s Day.
