The entire TV fraternity got shocked and dazzled when the most popular husband wife duo and stand up comedian hosts Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa got arrested by NCB in the ongoing drugs angle probe in lieu of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case and after many famous TV stars and legendary comedians gave their reaction, now even the veteran Bollywood actor Shekhar Suman responds, says your talent should be your drug.

Yes, as of now currently both husband and wife have been granted bail in the drugs angle probe after staying in jail for a night. They were initially when arrested by the NCB’s team, had been straightaway sent to the judicial custody till 4th December 2020 by the local magistrate court on Sunday after the apex drugs regulatory and controlling authority NCB had discovered approximately 86.5 gms of cannabis also commonly known as ‘ganja’ in Hindi which had been found by them after their unplanned impromptu raid at the husband wife’s production office and also in their house as well. During his recent interview with a leading Indian digital entertainment portal, he spoke at length about the same and said, “Your talent should be your drug. Just be addicted to hard work and excellence. Sometimes in life it’s difficult to handle fame and money, especially if you are an upstart”.

He also explained his take on how the use of drugs and deadly stimulants like these that too by such globally renowned stand up comedians is an alien and weird concept for him and throwing more emphasis on the same he said, “It was always my inherent abilities and nothing else. My advice to those who look for external stimulants to perform on stage is: when you do stand-up, stand up on your two feet without any crutches”.

When asked about whether Bharti’s involvement in this drugs angle probe will spoil the reputation and image of Indian stand-up comedians as a whole, he quipped, “Laughter by itself is the biggest antidote n the most effective medicine. It doesn’t get effected by sporadic incidents such as this. Laughter is a pond that doesn’t get affected by one bad fish”.

Speaking of this shocking arrest and its reactions by Bollywood film stars, Earlier in an interview with a leading Indian national newspaper publication ace cult comedy globally loved superstar Johnny Lever told, “I would like to say one thing to both Bharti and Harsh. Once you guys come out, speak to your colleagues both young and old not to indulge in drugs. Look at Sanjay Dutt, he confessed to the world. What bigger example do you want? Accept your mistake and pledge to quit drugs. Nobody is going to come to give you a bouquet of flowers for this case”.
