Shehnaaz Gill Opens Up About Dealing With Sidharth Shukla’s Death For The First Time

In a conversation with Brahma Kumari Shivani, Shehnaaz Gill has opened up about Sidharth Shukla's death for the first time in four months.

Bigg Boss fame Shehnaaz Gill has finally opened up about dealing with the untimely demise of Sidharth Shukla. Shehnaaz, who was grieving the loss, kept herself away from social media and public appearances for a long time.

Sidharth passed away in September 2021 due to a heart attack. After four months of his demise, Shehnaaz has come out to talk about this rough patch in her life. She got into a virtual conversation with spiritual guru Brahma Kumari Shivani and talked about her healing process.

Shehnaaz, who now follows a spiritual path, said, “People lose their near and dear ones. I experienced that too. But we shouldn’t think about the things we were yet to accomplish with that person. Instead, we should focus on the good memories we made with them. Most people are body conscious and I was one of them too. But now, I am soul conscious. I now think that soul (Sidharth Shukla) gave me so much knowledge. Earlier, I was very naive. I couldn’t analyze people and used to trust everyone easily. Basically, I was very innocent. That soul taught me so much in life. Paramatma (God) made me spend time with that soul so that he could teach me things. In those 2 years, I learned a lot. I guess my path was destined to go towards spirituality and Paramatma. So, that’s why he came into my life, and he introduced me to you. And now, I can handle things strongly. I am very strong.”

She further added, “We shouldn’t be materialistic. When I go to shoots, I remember him on sets thinking that he could have been here. But I think I should focus on my performance now. I should perform on his behalf too.”

Shehnaaz also added, “So many people are dying due to Coronavirus. There’s a lot of pain in the world. But we should live with the good memories of people that are gone. We keep on crying and compromise on our health. But that’s of no use because our journey is still ongoing. Their journey has been completed. Their costumes have changed but they have reached someplace else. I just assume that my chapter with him says ‘Will be continued.’ I believe that there will be a happy ending one day.”

Shehnaaz accepted that she wanted to end her life after Sidharth Shukla’s death. She said, “People want to end their lives when they lose their loved ones. I said it too. But my perspective has changed now. People who are gone have to embark on a new journey while we should focus on our ongoing journey. So, hurting ourselves is of no use because we’ll end up spoiling our future and then we’ll regret it.”

Towards the end of the conversation, Shehnaaz also revealed that whenever she is sad, she indulges herself in make-up. She said, “Make-up is also an art. So I distract my mind with it.”

Shehnaaz uploaded an hour-long conversation with BK Shivani on her YouTube channel and called it ‘Reset and Restart’.

People are in love with this heartfelt conversation. A fan commented, “For the past 4 months I am for the praying for this girl because I am worried that this will change her as a person .. so happy to see that she decide to move forward in the best possible way and Siddharth is her guiding angle always with her in the form of beautiful memories and learning.”
