Shamita Shetty’s Team Calls Out Tejasswi Prakash For Age Shaming Her

Shamita Shetty’s team took to their Twitter account to address the issue as they targeted Tejasswi Prakash for body-shaming her in one of the recent episodes.

Nearly at its end, the controversial show “Bigg Boss” is gaining some heat. The otherwise dull season is gaining TRP in its finale weeks acting like a blessing in disguise for the makers of the show. While it was because of this very reason, the makers had decided to extend the show for two additional weeks, some in-house contestants of the show weren’t quite happy with the news, unlike Rakhi who jumped in happiness.

Among them was Shamita, who seemed rather exhausted to play the show any further. Sure Shamita has her own reasons, be it her banter with Rakhi or Tejasswi that gets real ugly sometimes or her health issues that the actress finds difficult to cope up with, or her longing for her family, and rightly so, she has been away from her family and friends for more than 25 weeks now. While Shamita had been getting into an ugly spat with fellow contestants, both on OTT and the current version of the game, she had been subjected to derogatory and mean comments from her fellow contestants during such fights.

It was during one of those tasks when Shamita had been made ‘sanchalak’ when Tejasswi and Pratik both were doing their bit to get the final week ticket. It was during this task that Tejasswi was seen age-shaming Shamita, a move that many disliked on the Internet.

“It is so not cool, in spite of #ShamitaShetty being a fair sanchalak and not taking someone’s name to avoid conflict yet she is called didi, made fun of her saying that “ha bohot young hai.” Age shaming a person is unacceptable and very uncool” read the tweet that TeamShamita had posted on her official Twitter account.

Fans were quick to lend their support to the actress, many commented on the same tweet to express their stand. “FAIR SANCHALAK SHAMITA” tweeted a user.

“Age shamming, dragging her name time and again in a non-existent angle and mocking her all screams about who is really insecure and jealous..” mentioned another user.

“Reflects their own cheap mentality. Can’t wait for karma to strike” shared another user.

Clearly, fans didn’t enjoy Tejasswi’s remarks about Shamita and even found it distasteful, to say the least. Many fans anticipated host Salman Khan to address this insult on the “Weekend ka Vaar” episode, but to their surprise, he didn’t, which in turn fueled more discontentment amongst fans.
