Shailesh Lodha is a popular Indian poet, actor and writer. He is best known for playing Taarak Mehta in Sab TV’s sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Shailesh would soon be seen in the upcoming episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ along with a few other poets.
In a promo shared by SET India, Shailesh can be seen enjoying his time on the comedy chat show hosted by Kapil Sharma. But did you know that he once said very mean things about Kapil’s show during an event?
Well, it happened a few years ago at a Kavi Sammelan where Shailesh had criticised Kapil Sharma’s comedy show without naming it. He had said, “Main kuch karyakram dekhta hoon toh mujhe sharam aati hai. Ek dadi jo har vyakti ko chumna chahti hain, ek aisi bua jo shadi ke liye betab hain, ek pati jo apni patni ko pratarit karta hai. Main us karyakram mein kaam karta hoon jismeini ek beta har baat ke liye apne baap ke pair choota hai. (I am ashamed of some shows where a grandmother wants to kiss everyone, an aunt that is desperate for marriage and a husband who humiliates his wife in front of others. I work in a show where a son takes his father’s blessing for any work he does.)”

Shailesh Lodha’s comment had garnered him a lot of claps and appreciation from the audience. However, years later, he has appeared on the same show that he immensely criticized at a public platform. And we don’t know how to react to his change of thoughts.
