Late bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput and budding bollywood starlet Ankita Lokhande became household popular names with their remarkable performance as Manav and Archana in TV czarina Ekta Kapoor’s popular soap opera Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV, 2009 – 2014) and entertained fans and audiences with 1500 episodes followed by late actor Sushant quitting and then senior actor Hiten Tejwani stepping in to play Manav and continued it for 3 years till the show went off air 7 years back in 2014 and now latest update is that Shaheer as Manav and Ankita as Archana in Pavitra Rishta 2.0.
The much talked about digital sequel of the popular show has been in news from past few weeks now and this is an official news that Shaheer as Manav and Ankita as Archana in Pavitra Rishta 2.0.
Whilst there were speculations of the iconic TV actor coming onboard, but now it’s a confirmed news according to a recent news report by a leading digital entertainment portal that Shaheer as Manav and Ankita as Archana in Pavitra Rishta 2.0.

The reports clearly stated that Shaheer Sheikh has come onboard to essay iconic role of Manav Deshmukh for the new season titled Pavitra Rishta 2.0 and is going to play the lead role of Manav opposite budding bollywood starlet and popular TV star Ankita Lokhande who is going to portray as Archana after 7 long years and surely both their fans might be feeling excited and happy since this is going to be indeed a new and fresh pairing on the tube which will make it more interesting to watch this new onscreen couple taking the story ahead wherein the other cast members are also going to be locked in soon.
A source of the digital entertainment portal in his quote confirmed, “Shaheer Sheikh has come on board Pavitra Rishta 2.0 to portray the iconic character of Manav. Ankita will be back to play Archana again after 7 long years. The other cast members will be locked soon”.
Whilst it was in last year July 2020 that noted producer Ekta Kapoor and budding bollywood actress Ankita Lokhande had plans to reunite for Pavitra Rishta sequel, now finally after almost a year the script has finally been locked and fallen into place as well.
The popular show is going to premiere digitally on OTT platform and till now neither Ekta nor Shaheer have given any confirmation of same.
