Sana Khan Breaks Down Into Tears As She Reveals Why She QUIT Acting

In a conversation with Rubina Dilaik, former actress Sana Khan broke down into tears as she recounted her journey of leaving film industry and adapting a religious lifestyle.

Sana Khan has long been away from the limelight now. Best known for her appearance on Bigg Boss 6, where she gained widespread recognition under the mentorship of Salman Khan, Sana enjoyed a flourishing career in the entertainment industry. After rising to fame with her participation in Bigg Boss 6, Sana then stepped in the film industry, starring in films like “Wajah Tum Ho” and others.

However, in October 2020, she surprised fans by announcing her decision to quit acting, choosing instead to follow a more spiritual path. A month later, she married Mufti Anas Sayed, a cleric from Surat, marking a new chapter in her life. The couple celebrated the birth of their first child in July 2023. Since stepping away from the spotlight, Sana has fully committed to embracing a religious lifestyle while also focusing on managing her business endeavors.

However, after staying away from the industry for almost four years, Sana has shared her deeply personal journey on Rubina Dilaik’s podcast, Kisine Bataya Nahi. In the emotional interview, Sana revealed the inner turmoil and search for peace that ultimately guided her decision to leave the glitz and glamour of showbiz behind.

In her heartfelt conversation with Rubina Dilaik, Sana revealed the emotional challenges she encountered while she was working in the entertainment industry. She said, “I didn’t even realize when my journey went from wearing full sleeves to backless outfits, or when the devil stripped me bare as a woman. I felt lost. The girl who used to wear salwar kameez, apply oil, and make two braids to go to college, I don’t know when she started taking shortcuts and stepping onto the backless stage… To be honest, it makes me want to cry.” she added, “People thought I was happy, but I wasn’t happy inside,”

Sana broke down in tears while sharing her story, and Rubina Dilaik comforted her, applauding her for embracing a spiritual path at a young age. Rubina admitted that Sana had inspired many women, including herself, saying, “What you embraced early, I’m only now beginning to adopt.”

For those unaware, since leaving showbiz, Sana has embraced a religious, family-focused life and runs two successful businesses, ‘Face Spa by Sana Khan’ and ‘Haya by Sana Khan.’ Along with her husband, Anas Sayed, she also co-founded the Hayat Welfare Foundation to support those in need.
