Roop Durgapal Talks About Her Character In Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi has always been a show loved by all; I am sure even this season will be successful: Roop Durgapal

One of the most popular shows of Indian television Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is back. Made by ace producers Yash and Mamta Patnaik, the show stars Shaheer Sheikh, Erica Fernandez and Supriya Pilgaonkar in pivotal roles along with Roop Durgapal who plays Natasha, Dev’s ex fiancee. We also got to see her in the first episode of the show.

Speaking about expectations from the new season, Roop says, “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi has always been a loved show so I am sure even this season will be very successful. My character is that of Natasha, ex-fiancee of Dev, who he leaves for Sona. I have carried the same theme forward. A smart & positive-minded businesswoman who has now moved on, married to someone she fell in love with & yet great friends with Dev & even very comfortable with Sona. I think whatever roles we play on screen, whether we can relate with ourselves or not, we have to imagine and feel that character. Here I feel, just like Natasha and love to see positive aspects even in adverse situations in life. Natasha didn’t get sour after Dev left her and took inspiration from their love story. She started believing in love stories and eventually found the love of her own life. I am like that too. I am known to find happiness in the smallest of things & find that ray of sunlight even in darkness.”

Roop was not part of the outdoor schedule which kicked off couple of months back. She says, “I didn’t shoot outdoors. My appearance in the first episode is in a party sequence shot here in Mumbai itself. The best part about Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi team is that they are all wonderfully positive & lively people. I enjoyed working with Noel sir our director & had some interesting, enriching conversations with Shaheer & Erica too. I feel the USP of the show is its positive & breezy vibes. I am so thankful & grateful to Yash & Mamta for thinking of me for the opening sequence of their lovely show & I would love to continue our association for future projects too.”
