Reasons why Girliyapa’s Girls Hostel Season 2 has us all excited

A gang of girls living together in one room is quite a common trend these days in big cities where students come to study leaving their small towns. Moreover, the trend is growing almost like a rite of passage to adulthood.

It is a scenario that is a most relatable, exciting and challenging experience in the life of roommates. This experience has been explored in the Indian context by the gang of gals, featured in videos of Girliyapa.

In its ‘ Girls hostel’ series, Girliyapa has brought alive hostel life experience.

This series dealt with the highs and lows of 4 girls who have a different mindset, comes from different background but are staying together in the hostel.

The coming of season 2 of the series has been announced. Season 1 featured Parul Gulati, Ahsaas Channa, Srishti Srivastava, and Simran Natekar.

News is being speculated that Tithi Raj, who has been featured in various web projects like Screwed Up, NIS, Untouchables, and Hadh,  would also be a part of Girliyapa series ‘Girls Hostel’ on TVF.

According to the sources, she will be playing a very different role than she has not attempted so far in her web series space. As per the news, she will be more extrovert in the upcoming season which will be revealing her quieter side.

The first season of Girliyapa was launched in association with Whisper to promote its campaign #MeriLifeMereRules.

This campaign is initiated by Whisper towards empowering women to be unstoppable and do away with the limitations that are levied upon them by society and people’s mindset. This Original Series of Girliyapa is directed by Chaitanya Kumbhakonum. In the series of Girls hostel, the 4 characters can be seen exploring everyday life in the Dental College hostel. Students – Richa, Milli, Jo and Zahira come together to deal with personal issues, dealt with bizarre wardens and other mean girls in the hostel they come across.

As Girliyapa has been famous amongst both the genders of youth equally, this humorous rollercoaster is coming back. This will present real human emotions on the screen which are quite relatable with the hostel experiences.
