The tragic death of TV actor Nitin Chauhaan has left everyone in the entertainment industry shocked and saddened. Known for his roles in shows like Dadagiri 2, Crime Patrol, Splitsvilla and more. TV actor Nitin Chauhaan was found dead in his Mumbai home on Thursday. This heartbreaking news has many people wondering about the personal challenges he was going through.

Nitin Chauhaan made his TV debut on the reality show Dadagiri 2 in 2009, where his stunning personality captured the audience’s attention and later became more popular through MTV Splitsvilla 5 and appeared regularly on popular crime shows like Crime Patrol, Savdhaan India and Gumrah. Although his career started on a high note, things took a difficult turn for him in recent years, before he took down his life.

As reported by NDTV, Nitin had been struggling with depression over the past few years. His wife told police that he hadn’t been able to find work in television for the last 3-4 years which affected his mental health, for which he was receiving treatment but not finding any work took a toll on him. During this time, keeping up the brave he was trying to start an ice cream business instead but that didn’t worked out too, adding to his worries and stress.

Additionally, in her statement to the police, Nitin’s wife shared details of the day he was found. She explained that she was in the apartment complex garden with their young daughter. When they returned home, they found the door locked from the inside. After knocking and she received no answer then they forced the door open and found Nitin inside found in helpless situation. This tragic discovery left her and their daughter devastated.

And after the news spread, Nitin’s father rushed to Mumbai to safely take his son’s mortal remains to his hometown, as per India Today reports.

Following Nitin’s death his friends and colleagues shared their grief online. Fellow actors Sudeep Sahir and Vibhuti Thakur posted emotional messages in memory of TV actor Nitin Chauhaan, mourning the loss of their friend.

Nitin Chauhaan’s story becomes another reason and to take a note of how many die due to mental health issues, despite severals advocating the issue but mental health continues to be a taboo. His passing, also sheds light on mental health support in the entertainment industry, the challenges that many artists face.
