Days after mourning the sudden demise of his son Devraj, comedian and actor Rajeev Nigam reveals getting help from prominent TV host and actor Maniesh Paul. The comedian shares that Maniesh not helped him financially but also mentally stood strong by his side.
In an interview, Rajeev Nigam reveals facing financial crunch from last 2 and half years, he said, “To be honest, it was disappointing to see that in these testing times, no one from the fraternity helped me except Maniesh Paul. I’ve been facing a financial crisis for the past two and a half years, while on one hand, I was unable to work, on the other hand, my son was undergoing his treatment. Maniesh helped me a lot, not just financially but also mentally he has been a strong support.”
Rajeev’s life took a drastic turn when his son went into coma in 2018; he even took break from his work to concentrate on his son’s treatment. Unfortunately, his son took his last breath on November 8 which is also Rajiv’s birthday.
Rajeev Nigam took to social media to share the tragic news of his son Devraj’s demise.
“What a surprise birthday gift… mera beta devraj aaj mujhe chod ke chala gaya.. bina birthday cake kaate… pagle aisa gift koi deta hai.”
Along with his post, Rajeev Nigam shared a photo with his son. Commenting on his post, netizens expressed condolences for his son. No cause of death or further details about his son have been released.
