Mera Style Mujh Se Accha Iske Pehle Kabhi Nahi Dekha – Says Govinda On Super Dancer 4

Contestant Pruthviraj and his super guru Subhranil who have done wonderfully well week on week yet again managed to enthrall the judges and Govinda & Neelam alike.

This weekend Super Dancer – Chapter 4 celebrates Bollywood jodi – Govinda and Neelam and every performance by the contestants and their super gurus was nothing short of a tribute to the celebrated actors. Contestant Pruthviraj and his super guru Subhranil who have done wonderfully well week on week yet again managed to enthrall the judges and Govinda & Neelam alike. Govinda, especially, was so delighted with the performance that he immediately commented – “Mera Style, Mujh Se Accha, Iske Pehle Kabhi Nahi dekha”  What more can one ask for?!

Govinda further added, “Mujhe aisa lagta hai, dance wohi dance hai jo bina bole dance kare.”

He was short of words to express his feelings towards this spectacular performance. On the behest of the hosts and everyone present, Govinda and Neelam obliged everyone by taking to the stage and performing on Aap ke aa jaane se.

Neelam was at a loss for words watching this performance. She went on to add, “I have never seen a composition and a choreography like what you did. It was so innovative! And to be honest, it brought back a lot of fond memories with Govinda.”

While Shilpa Shetty Kundra gave Pruthviraj and Subhranil a ‘seedhi’ ovation, Anurag Basu was quick to add that Subhranil is a ‘genius’ choreographer.

The hosts were keen on knowing more about this evergreen song, the memories and nostalgia around it, to which Neelam said, “When I first heard this song, I never imagined it to be such a hit number. This song is the biggest hit of my career. I could have never thought that even after 30 years, people will remember it, like it… they recall it and they want to dance to this number. This is one of my favorite songs.”

Shilpa Shetty Kundra went on to ask Govinda how they used to communicate because when Neelam joined the industry, she could barely speak Hindi in the early days of her career. Amidst a lot of laughter and banter, Neelam responded to Shilpa’s question and said, “In the initial days when we were shooting, I used to go on talking with Govinda in English and he used to respond to me with ‘yes, yes, yes’, ‘okay, okay’, ‘no, no, no’ and I told my mother, he (Govinda) is so sweet… he agrees to whatever I tell him (laughs). He was just too sweet.”
