Pratyusha Banerjee’s Death Was Not Suicide; Her Ex-Boyfriend Reveals the Truth

BalikaVadhu actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh reveals the reason why she would have hanged herself.

Television actress Pratyusha Banerjee was discovered hanging from a fan at her Goregaon, Mumbai, home on April 1, 2016. The whole of the television industry was stunned and devastated to learn of her terrible death. Even though Pratyusha passed away more than six years ago, her devoted followers and loved ones are still having a hard time accepting it. In a recent interview, her ex-boyfriend, Rahul Raj Singh, who was charged with her murder, explained why Pratyusha was hanging from the fan.

Rahul Raj, who is making a comeback with the album “Beparwah 2,” reportedly admitted that Pratyusha’s death had a profound impact on him and that it had taken him a long time to recover. Raj even claimed that the lack of employment had utterly destroyed both his personal and professional lives. Rahul Raj Singh even claimed that he was offered a role in Lockup season 1 but was unable to accept it because of Vikas Gupta’s extensive network.

Rahul responded that Pratyusha was creating hanging films to frighten him when asked why she had hanged herself. Her foot would have slipped on April 1 because she used to do this frequently. “I was unconscious when the accident occurred for two to three days. After sleeping medicines failed to put him to sleep, injections were administered. Many are accusing me of being the cause of her demise. How am I to blame for someone’s passing? I just spent the previous evening at a party with her. She was concerned about her parents’ debt, even though I didn’t provoke her. I don’t think of it as suicide. Pratyusha made videos of herself hanging in order to frighten me. She often used to do this.”

Pratyusha Banerjee was known as Anandi in the Colours TV show Balika Vadhu. She also participated in the controversial show Bigg Boss 7.
