Pavitra Rishta 2.0 Won’t See Another Actor In Upcoming Sequel

Another new update according to latest news reports now is that veteran TV actor Usha Nadkarni won't be seen in upcoming digital sequel Pavitra Rishta 2.0

This is a bitter sweet moment for the late bollywood star Sushant’s fans as on one side his hit serial Pavitra Rishta’s digital sequel Pavitra Rishta 2.0 is coming but he won’t be there playing Manav, which also stars Ankita Lokhande in leading role of Archana, but on other side Pavitra Rishta 2.0 won’t see another actor in upcoming sequel.

Best known for playing late Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput’s aai in original hit television serial of TV czarina Ekta Kapoor Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV, 2009 – 2014), its true that sadly Pavitra Rishta 2.0 won’t see another actor in upcoming sequel.

According to latest news reports, it’s confirmed that from the original cast another important veteran TV actor is set to be replaced wherein Pavitra Rishta 2.0 won’t see another actor in upcoming sequel.

TV show Pavitra Rishta made both late bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput and bollywood actress Ankita Lokhande big and well renowned household names and even though the show ended seven years back in 2014, audiences have also enjoyed watching its reruns as well and according to the latest news reports by a leading digital entertainment portal, two of most important are going to be missing in this digital version wherein senior TV actress Usha Nadkarni is not going to be seen on the show and in original serial she essayed role of Savita Deshmukh aka Savita Tai who was also Sushant’s onscreen mother in the show and even after leaving everyone impressed with her performance, she is not going to be seen in the digital sequel.

The actress herself confirmed the news that she is not going to be a part of the digital season owing to the COVID 19 pandemic and also mentioned that her family is worried since she is 77 and diabetic which is why they don’t want her to put her life at risk and explaining the same, she told the portal, “No, I am not doing that. Because of the Covid scare, my family doesn’t let me step out of the house. I am old, and I have diabetes too. In fact, I was a part of Marathi Bigg Boss for 77 days and was called to be a part of the Hindi version of the show, too, for 15 days”.

She adds, “Everything was finalized, but then my son asked me not to participate in it, as one never knows from where you can get infected”.

Meanwhile, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden and mysterious controversial death in June 2020 last year, who played the lead in the show, the show might see actor Manit Joura in the male lead.
