Television actor Nisha Rawal has been confirmed as the first contestant of the upcoming reality show ‘Lock Upp’ produced by Ekta Kapoor. A promo has been shared by MX Player which shows Nisha Rawal wearing an orange jumpsuit and in handcuffs. Labelled as Inmate no. 1, she has been charged for ‘controversial fights’.
So, before Nisha enters into India’s biggest controversial show, know more about her controversy that made the national headlines and grabbed everyone’s attention.
Nisha Rawal Controversy: Last year, Nisha appeared before the media in an injured state and accused her husband Karan Mehra of domestic violence. She even filed an FIR against him for physical assault and accused him of having an extramarital affair. The actress gained people’s sympathy until Karan Mehra shared his side of the story. He denied the allegations of domestic violence and claimed that she staged the injury as he refused to give her the alimony amount she asked for. He also said that he was never unfaithful to her.
Their feud was highly escalated in the media and Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal’s marriage of 9 years came to an end. The couple also has a son together, who was born in 2017.
This is the biggest controversy of Nisha Rawal’s life that got her arrested for the upcoming reality show.
Lock Upp will mark Kangana Ranaut’s debut as a reality show host. It will begin streaming on February 27 on ALTBalaji and MX Player. 16 ‘controversial’ celebrities will be locked in jail for 72 days and denied access to amenities.
