Nakuul Mehta has always been one of the very few actors who has always been vocal and fearless about his opinions in public without any fears and tensions and once again, he came back on instagram with a long and hard-hitting note that is directly pointing out towards the current bad situation of the entire country which came in right after our PM Narendra Modi set up a rally in West Bengal.

As the entire pandemic situation is just worsening with people falling prey to COVID 19 and in midst of this, many people attending rally even after knowing cases are mounting, netizens and users called Modi’s move as really callous.

Speaking about it, Nakuul Mehta dropped a poem titled Marghat ka shehenshah which translated into english means ruler of the mortuary and this poem has been written by his friend Ajay Singh. He backed this picture with a really strong note about how rulers have joined their forces together only to strengthen their vote bank in this worst situations not even caring about human life and its importance.

His note read, “There is so much one has felt in the last fortnight which we all are still processing… Fear, anger, desperation, helplessness and much more. Whilst all of us can look within and reflect on how we could have played this differently, and sure we could have. There needs to be self-accountability for the mess we are in but the general apathy shown to us by people who govern us, who have let nothing come in between their mad hunger to strengthen their vote bank whilst the citizenry has been left to his or her own devices to figure this once in a lifetime situation we are in. That there has been lack of foresight & preparation is not even debatable”.

The note furthermore read, “Marghat ka Shenshah has come from that very place of hopelessness and anger. For those hundreds of you who have reached out, it feels placating to know that we are not alone in this. That humanity is what defines us more than politics or religion ever will”.

Nakuul sincerely also hopes that ‘each one of us finds a dawn within our life at the end of this long, never-ending tunnel of suffering’.
