Naagin 7: Ekta Kapoor’s television fantasy drama show Naagin is one of the most popular shows on Colors. In all 6 seasons, the drama has maintained quite some viewership. And the 7 season is on the way. It was earlier reported that Udaariyan actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary who is currently in the Bigg Boss house might essay the lead role in the 7th season of the show.
However, as per recent reports, it is now believed that Imlie actress Sumbul Touqeer might replace Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and play the lead role in the drama. If a Bollywood life report is to be believed then actress Sumbul Touqeer might lead the show by replacing Priyanka.
A source told the portal, that the Bigg Boss 16 contestant Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s team is currently in talks with the makers of the drama show, Naagin 7 and if everything goes as planned then the Imlie actress will be seen leading the show as the “Naagin”. The portal also stated that since Sumbul is one of the most known and leading faces in the television industry currently so she was considered by the makers for the show.
On the other hand, it was earlier reported that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Archana Gautam were also the names that were considered for the show. Priyanka Choudhary’s fans have been rooting for the actress to lead the show however it is also reported that the actress isn’t willing to do the show and so she won’t lead the show. Apart from Naagin, Priyanka was recently offered the stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi by Rohit Shetty.
For the unversed, Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash is currently leading the 6th season of Ekta Kapoor’s show, Naagin 6. Before Tejasswi actresses Surbhi Chandna, Surbhi Jyoti, and Mouni Roy were some of the leading actresses who essayed the main role in the show.
