The television sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma has been continuously grabbing headlines with a lot of accusations against the show’s producer, Asit Modi, executive producer, Jatin Bajaj, and operations head, Sohail Ramani. The controversies started when, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala, who plays the role of Roshan Kaur Sodhi, recently accused the makers of the show of sexual harassment at the workplace. In addition to this, Monika Bhadoriya, who played the character “Bawri” in the programme, accused the producer of torturing her mentally. She then made more shocking claims against the popular show’s makers and also revealed Munmun Dutta and Asit Modi had a lot of fights on the set.
In a recent interview with News 18, Monika Bhadoriya disclosed that Asit Modi also mistreated Munmun Dutta, who was allegedly gone for a few months last year. Monika revealed that her co-star Munmun must have been subjected to extreme torture because she opted to skip the set for a few days. She claimed that many of the cast members of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma experienced this. Munmun, who frequently fought with Asit Modi, also shared a similar experience with Monika.
She stated Munmun has also left the sets many times after arguments with Asit Modi. She has not come to set for several days. They had a lot of fights.
In addition, Monika Bhadoriya admitted that female actresses on the set are not treated with respect. Monika claimed that even after finishing their shoots, female performers are still required to remain on the sets. She revealed that the cast started the male actors’ shots last.
