Lock Upp fame Munawar Faruqui will reportedly join the 12th season of the action reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. After winning Kangna Ranaut’s show, Lock Upp, Munawar Faruqui is geared up to join Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12. Recently, comedian Munawar opened up on his fears and excitement of joining the team of Fear Factor.
‘Lock Upp’ winner Munawar Faruqui attended the launch event of the show hosted by Rohit Shetty. He was seen slaying a mustard jacket over a white t-shirt and paired it with black pants.
Munawar Faruqui on joining Khatron Ke Khiladi:
Khatron Ke Khiladi is a show where 12 contestants come together to face their worst fears and perform a series of death-defying stunts. As the show is described he was asked if he is afraid to perform fear factor stunts but to our surprise, he is fearless but excited to visit South Africa, meet Rohit Shetty, and ecstatic to shoot for a renowned channel and a big show.
He further added: “Sabse khaas reason hai ki audience dekh paayegi, unlog ko aadat lag gayi hai 24 ghante dekhne ki… abhi nahi dikh paa raha hu aur youtube pe itna content nahi daal sakta but abhi itne hafton tak woh log mujhe tv pe dekh paayenge ek show toh I am really excited.”
He was next questioned being a comedian how he will manage to entertain people in a danger zone. To this he replied: “tragedy me sabse zyada comedy bahar nikal ke aati hai, toh definitely sher bhi saamne hoga toh joke nikal ke aayega, humara kaam hi joke maarna.”
Khatron ke Khiladi has various stunts including heights, water, animals, and more. Munawar mentioned he is not scared much but as he doesn’t know swimming so any task related to water will be difficult for him. Lock Upp winner added of having no strategy to follow anyone’s footsteps from previous seasons’ contestants. He stated: “inspire hona alag baat hai but main kisike footsteps nahi follow karna chahuga… main jaise apne andaz me khelta hu vaise apne andaz me kheluga aur task karuga.”
When asked who will be your competitor in this season, Munwar said: Saare hi bade competition hai aur mujhe lagta hai ki ye dhurando ka game hone wala hai. Ye 12th season sabse killer season hone wala hai, so I am really looking forward. Aur jo competition ho woh 1-2 hafte me shayad pata chalega.
