Actress Mouni Roy has got married to her boyfriend Suraj Nambiar today. The two lovebirds tied the knot in a traditional South Indian ceremony in Goa. On her big day, actor turned politician Smriti Irani got nostalgic and penned a heart-warming note on social media.
Smriti Irani and Mouni Roy worked together in Star Plus show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. Smriti played the lead role of Tulsi Virani and Mouni joined the show in 2006 as she played Tulsi’s adopted daughter Krishna Tulsi Virani in the show.
On Mouni Roy’s wedding, Smriti took to her social media to share a few pictures from the ceremony and wrote, “This girl came into my life 17 years ago .. they claimed she was a novice then but such was her wisdom that she brought warmth & much joy along with the life lessons she infused amongst those who are lucky to have her as a friend, as family. Today she begins a new journey. May all the Gods be kind and bless her with happiness, prosperity and good health.. for the boy.. well you are one hell of a lucky man .. God bless Suraj Nambiar. Mouni rose to fame by playing the lead role with the show Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev on Life OK in 2011. She is also known for working in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural show ‘Naagin’.
In 2018, Mouni made her Bollywood debut alongside Akshay Kumar in sports film ‘Gold’. She will be next seen in Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Brahmastra’.
Talking about her husband Suraj Nambiar, he is an investment banker. The duo allegedly started dating in 2019.
