Earlier this month, White hill Music launched its latest track. Titled Pani Di Gal, the romantic track is a part of the album Jugni which marks the debut of Maninder Butta. Along with lending his vocals to the song with Asees Kaur, he has penned the lyrics. The music has been composed by Mix Singh. The music video features popular television star, Jasmin Bhasin. Produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu, the video has been directed by Robby Singh.
Sharing his excitement, Maninder says, “Working with Jasmin made for a beautiful experience. She is a very cute Punjabi girl. Her smile is adorable. One of the most special memories was shooting for the scene where she tells me, ‘Tu inj kyun boleya?’ That bit has become viral now. Pani Di Gal is a song that I wrote long back and I was planning to release it for a while now.”
Talking about her experience of shooting for the music video, Jasmin says, “Shooting for Pani Di Gal was an amazing experience. We had a really professional unit and hence, it went really. We also had so much fun on the set that it hardly felt like we were working. It is a beautiful track and I loved working with Maninder. He is really sweet, down to earth, understanding and an amazing performer.”
One of the most highly anticipated songs of the year, Pani Di Gal has already garnered 42 million views. Set against the backdrop of the big Indian wedding, the playful and upbeat track entails the blossoming love story between a young couple who are seen teasing each other. The music video has impressed fans as it perfectly captures the chemistry between the lead pair.
