Mahekk and Ashmit when were together in relationship were so heads over heels madly in love with each other that they both had also ended up secretly exchanging their rings back in 2017 and then also planned for a grand destination wedding in 2018 but then their breakup did shock everyone as they both suddenly parted their ways in 2018 stating the compatibility issues and so now setting the record straight this time around in her recent conversational chat interview with a leading digital entertainment portal off late, Mahekk Chahal discloses entire story about her split with Ashmit Patel.

All set to face her fears in the upcoming season of the much awaited adventurous and popular TV reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 (KKK 11), Mahekk Chahal discloses entire story about her split with Ashmit Patel. Not only this, she also stated about how he was not the right type of person for her.
In this interview chat when quizzed that does she blame herself for their split, on this Mahekk shares, “Not at all. I chose to walk off. When you start living together and spending more time with a particular person, you get to know the real him/her. I don’t think that Ashmit was the right person for me”.
Also mentioning about how the post breakup period was stressful for her and her friends helped her get through with it, Mahekk says, “My friends and family stood by me. I shared my issues with them. I was in Goa for a year. Owing to the lockdown, I would come down to Mumbai only if required. I spent a lot of time with nature in Goa; nature has a calming, soothing and healing influence on me. Time heals everything and this time was no exception”.
She is all set for going off to Capetown for shooting KKK 11 with Rohit Shetty and other contestants and talking about the show, Mahekk said, “I want to win it. I see myself as a changed person, maybe it will change my career too. And, I am looking forward to making some good friends in the show”.
Apart from Mahekk Chahal, Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 will also see Vishal Aditya Singh, Aastha Gill, Abhinav Shukla, Varun Sood, Arjun Bijlani, Nikki Tamboli, Rahul Vaidya and among others.
