Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant is in the headlines after she accused her second husband of fraud and domestic violence. Rakhi, who married businessman Adil Khan Durrani in July 2022, went to Oshiwara Police station two days ago to file a complaint against him. Adil was arrested on 7th Feb. He was taken for medical examination before producing him in Andheri court on Feb 8. Meanwhile, his lawyer applied for his bail.
Today, the hearing on bail was scheduled but it was postponed due to unavailability of the magistrate. Adil Khan’s lawyer said, “We had applied for the court and today the hearing was supposed to happen. However, it has been postponed as Honorable Magistrate Sir is on leave. If he comes tomorrow, then the hearing will take place tomorrow itself.”
Meanwhile, he also claimed that Rakhi Sawant had beaten Adil. During the media interaction this afternoon, he said, “Talking about the physical abuse, I had even mentioned in the court yesterday that Adil is not the culprit, but a victim instead. There are several injuries on his body. I have made a submitted the report of his medical examination in court. Adil was beaten up and that is why he has so many injury marks on his body.”
When asked about Adil’s current state, the lawyer said, “He was emotional today. He was missing his parents. We talked about the case mostly.”
Speaking about his future course of action, the lawyer said, “We are confident that we will get the bail. In case it gets rejected, we will move to sessions court.”
