As we all know that today webseries are gaining more prominence and importance than TV shows and this ace actor is really thrilled and excited to be a part of onw where during his recent chat interviews, Kunal Thakkur gets candid about new webseries Escape Live.

Escape Live is going to be a tech thriller webseries which has an ensemble star cast of Siddharth (Rang De Basanti, 2006), Javed Jafferi, Shweta Tripathi (Mirzapur 2, 2020) and former Indian supermodel Waluscha Dsouza.
Throwing light on the same, the actor said, “The web series I am currently shooting for is called Escape Live, which will stream on Disney Hotstar. I have learnt an all-new approach and have thoroughly enjoyed the process of prep, staging and reading. It’s a tech thriller which also stars Siddharth of Rang De Basanti fame, Javed Jafferi, Waluscha Dsouza and Shweta Tripathi. It’s a very novel and fresh concept and I am very excited to be part of it. It’s a very interesting show based on today’s times and the social media craze”.
He also explained the fact that he loves working for the Digital OTT web space more than the Television and stated, “In television, we actors don’t get so much time to prep. Here, we had multiple reading and staging sessions wherein every little detailing was looked into, right from the costumes to the set. Everything is authentic and real”.
Infact, the budding TV / digital star in the making, Kunal Thakkur wishes to do more webseries and focusing on this point he also quipped, “I wish to do more of web series and would love to play a grey character like that of Kevin Spacey in House of Cards which is my favourite show of all time”.
The actor is very happy and glad to be back in front of the camera an in a parting note towards the end of the interview, he said, “The best part about being in front of the camera is that you get to be so many people in just one lifetime. I think that’s what drew me to acting. Like I said earlier, you get to be all the things you are actually not, which is amazing. I am a good boy in real life and I get to discover other facets of my personality while acting. So, I would say being able to express is the biggest plus of best an actor”.
