KBC: Amitabh Bachchan To Resume Shooting Of The Show After Recovering From COVID-19

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan shocked everyone after he shared the news of being tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. Millions of his fans and colleagues from the entertainment industry sent the actor their best wished and prayed for a speedy recovery. Now, after recovering from the coronavirus infection, the veteran actor is looking forward to resuming his work.

Amitabh Bachchan soon will kick-start the shooting for the 12th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati and the makers of the show are ensuring safety precautions. The 77-year old actor shared the news on his social media and his fans are elated to see their favourite star get back to work after his battle with the coronavirus disease.

For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan had already shot the promo for the new season of Kaun Banega Crorepati during the lockdown period. He wrote on his blog, “So yes I worked .. got a problem with that .. keep it to yourself then .. damned if you pour it out here in this locked in condition .. sufficient precaution as much that could be taken was taken .. and what had been scheduled for 2 days, was completed in one day .. starting 6pm .. ending a short while NOW !!”

Amitabh Bachchan was discharged from Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital at the end of July 2020. He alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aardhya Bachchan were tested COVID-19 positive. As of now, all of them have been diagnosed negative and are doing well.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be sharing the screen space with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor for Brahmastra. He will also be seen in Sairat fame director, Nagraj Manjule’s debut Bollywood film Jhund.
