The actor who is also a bollywood film actor has acted in films and OTT projects which had kept him totally busy within the last two years. But, now Karan is all set to make his fans and audiences fall in love with him again as he is making a comeback with one of the most popular and longest running shows on indian television, maverick and ace TV producer Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai produced under his banner Directors Kut Productions airing on Star Plus (2009 – present) where Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan play the leading roles as Sirat and Kartik in the current track off late.
The leading digital entertainment portal had also informed the people about how Karan is going to essay the role of Ranveer who is Sirat (Shivangi Joshi’s) former lover in YRKKH and speaking up about the same in his latest interview with a leading digital entertainment portal, Karan reveals about what actually made him say a yes to the show and sharing about it, Karan told, “My character Ranveer will affect the relationship between Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Sirat (Shivangi Joshi). I decided to accept this role, because it is different in many ways. My character has a lot of layers. And earlier I have just done romantic characters, so this is not just a romantic character, there are many aspects and many shades to his personality which will come out as the show progresses. With this show, I will be back on TV after a gap of sometime. When YRKKH was offered to me, it was too good an opportunity to refuse because obviously Rajan Shahi is one of the biggest Producers in the Television industry and this show is the most successful show on Star Plus and TV, so there was really no reason to say no”.
Karan was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s OTT platform Alt Balaji web series Dil Hi To Hai Season 3 and It Happened In Calcutta.
